Just had a look at there forms and both hate us and wilder. Even got a piggy on sunderland forum

They have got a 21 page attendance thread like on porktalk!

As a Sunderland supporter I can confirm this.

We have been written off by everyone, including a lot of our supporters and the chances of us beating Coventry isn't considered to be very high.

We have played in the play offs loads of times and never has there been such little expectation on Sunderland. Coventry are expected to win fairly easily (maybe as easily as you lads and lasses won tonight) both home and away.

The million dollar question is can we raise our game or not? Our manager said 2 games ago that we were starting to play properly again - we promptly lost both games to nil.

We look to be in real trouble unless the manager pulls a rabbit out of the hat.
He certainly has. 👍

The bottom line is
If you’re good enough to go up , you have to beat the best of whichever team is in your way

So we will

Have to make sure Brizzle don’t score more than 2 goals
Then we have to be better than either Coventry or Sunderland on the day at Wembley

Simples

I think we can fulfill both those requirements

Something that may surprise people considering the perceptions.....

Sunderland scored 5 LESS goals than us this season

We have to be careful of their threats but Wilder shouldn't approach it as if they're some irresistible attacking force. They're not

Coventry can also still beat them, without a doubt. Shame they stupidly chucked it away last night. A 1-1 would have been an absolutely fine result for them

Watched the Coventry/Sunderland game. Sunderland played it clever. Pretty much parked the bus from kick off and Cov really created no clear chances then they get breakaway gaol. One chance and Isidor buries it. Cov equalise then Sunderland get another breakaway but from defensive mistake but really well converted. We are not good at breaking down teams who sit back. Look at Oxford, Millwall and Plymouth games at end of season. Do we want Cov to win at stadium of light.

100% would rather play Coventry, than Sunderland.
As you say - stylistically, Coventry suit us whilst Sunderland don't.

I also think Sunderland have the better players, higher ceiling and they'll travel in vastly superior numbers.

That Sunderland performance worried me last night. We don't do well against pace or bus parkers.

It was two Coventry defensive mistakes though that gave Sunderland their goals. That said Robinson did the same at the Stadium of Light

They’re nearly as obsessed about attendances as the pigs.
