Well as we go into the last few days here's the gossip I know of..........

Blades are still in for Nugent in a £4m deal that could involve Ade.

We are reported to be bidding for Greg Halford from Colchester.

Man City may move for Danny Webber for £1m.

Bernard deal is unlikely because the player wants a 2 Year deal on big wages.

Still murmours of Kilgallen and Kabba swap.

Then get that Halford in, who seems to be a good player. However, not too sure if he could hack it in top flight.

Warnock aiming to add new coach

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock has confirmed he is looking to bring a new coach to the club.

The Premiership new boys have added numbers to their squad over the summer and Warnock admits there are now too many players for him and assistant Stuart McCall to cope with.

Warnock is aiming to add a new first-team coach to his backroom staff sooner rather than later, with former Leeds and Manchester United coach Brian Kidd strongly linked.

"I am looking to bring in a new senior coach because Stuart and I just need some help," Warnock admitted.

"The fact is we've got too many bodies for the two of us to cope with."

The Blades are likely to face competition for Kidd's services, with reports suggesting Roy Keane will try to bring him to Sunderland if he becomes manager at The Stadium of Light.

Looks like we are still aiming for a new coach rather than players.

That's just an old story dug up due to Keane wanting Kidd although it looks like we will have a new first team coach sometime.

With Jags at the back we have the makings of a great back-four but it leaves us with a defensive midfield. If Jags plays midfield we have a stronger but still defensive midfield. Get Nugent if you can, but a season long loan for Koumas looks like a cheaper and needed alternative.

If he does end up here, then Warnock will certainly have done a good job at cutting his wages up.
