Surprise surprise, Newcastle United were the first game on the BBC last night.

And goals on Sunday have just included numerous clips of Newcastle amidst their montage of Premiership games.

It's just so blatant.

One thing that annoys me about the FL coverage is the camera zoom being too close in.

For Prem coverage and when Sky show a live game the camara view is a nice distance where you can see a good portion of the pitch and see player movements, long passes, moves and the general formation of the team no problem.

But, I've noticed on many many shots of FL highlights, the camera zooms in to a very small view as soon as the ball enters the penalty area, it makes it just feel wrong to me.

There was a goal on the highlights yesterday where they were zoomed in so close and the ball got cleared, then a player outside the box had an instant shot which went in, but you never actually saw the player kick it because it was too quick for the camaraman to follow (if you're still got the highlights - it was Colchester's first goal against Yeovil)

This isn't new either, it always used to be the same on ITV.

Maybe it's just me but it just doesn't feel right and I like a wider pespective of the pitch.
