The owners are arranging a series of Fans Forums this summer.

If you are allowed one question each, what is your question? Let's assume we will remain in League 1 for next season.

Mine is:

What budget will the manager be working to next season, i.e. players' wage budget and transfer fee budget for the full year. In your opinion will it be the biggest in the division, bearing in mind we have the biggest fan base? If you are sensitive about mentioning actual figures just answer the latter stage of the question.

We've had a very similar thread to this one already.

I believe my answer on the other thread was along the lines of:

Do you believe the budget afforded to Nigel Adkins so far and next season is realistically enough to challenge for the top two, bearing in mind our spectacular failure so far?

And, who exactly is in charge of negotiating our transfers, and can you shed any light on the rumours of him being completely inaccessible throughout January?

Edit- damn it that's two questions. Please feel free to flog me on the town hall steps in front of the public.

Double edit!

Who exactly is in charge of the scouting process and are you happy with the Scouting looking at the recent record?

i.e. Higdon. Sammon. Coutts. Freeman.

You want flogging for your spelling of publicly

I'd ask:

Given the promise shown over recent weeks by the Billy Sharp-Che Adams partnership, do you see their goals as the key to us getting promoted & are you committed to holding both of them to their contracts (even if one or the other of them asked to leave)?

Why after so many years of failure, poor judgement and bad mistakes have you not appointed one or more individual/s with football expertise and understanding to a full time boardroom position, and are there any plans to do this any time soon?
Here is my cv

You missed a bit.

If that's the case then I missed the other thread and this one should be removed and no doubt will be.

I would ask Kevin McCabe what HE think's are his biggest mistakes in the last six years?

Or does he not believe he has made any?

Does the manager think the budget he's been given is enough to get us promoted and will it affect the millions you apparently take out of the club Kevin?

And your follow-up question, you wouldn't want to be accused of being a tame, soft touch do you?:)

Actually I asked Adkins the first half of the question at the Meet the Manager last July.

Who are the 'Technical Board' and what qualifies them to make football-related decisions?

This would be a fair question, however, the Technical Board" has effectively been terminated, as of February this year

Depends if it's still the same person making the decisions.

If you fail to learn the lessons of history you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes.

That's from Star Trek so I know what I'm talking about.

Ensign George Santanaya?

Maybe the fans should answer some questions as well as ask them:

What price would you accept for Ché?

More convoluted: If someone comes in with an offer to double/treble Ché's wages and gives him the chance of first team football in a higher division, and he hands in a written transfer request should we still hold him to his contract? In these circumstances, what price should we accept?

Too many questions in this thread with easy answers. Best I can come up with is:

Given that you've stated that sufficient finances for success have always been available, and that you've always given your full backing for the manager of the time, why should fans expect the future to be different to our last decade of increasingly poor performance on the pitch?

Edit: follow up question: Isn't that exactly what you said with the last eight managers?

Can I be greedy and ask loads?

1. Why did you not sign at least 2 centre halves in good time before the season started? Why did this remain the case throughout the entire season?

2. Do you think this is incredibly dissapointing and really bizarre with the unanimously well known fact, of which you have been aware of at all times, that at least 2 centre halves were desperately needed as top priority?

3. Why did you opt for 2 strikers instead as well as ending up signing 4 past it no hopers of whom are nowhere near good enough for promotion and yet are on far more than players playing for teams well above us in the league? Was this a wise thing to do?

4. How much of an impact do you think this has had on our league position comparative to expectations at the beginning of the season, as well as considering the commonly shared opinion that 4 or 5 quality players was what was needed to achieve promotion this year?

5. Are you going to undergo hypnosis to detach you of your horrible interview technique, which has seemed to act as further fuel to the angry fire following dreadful results? I would prefer it if you didn't tell me about how excellent we were after a defeat to Shrewsbury at home.
