I take pundit criticism on here with a pinch of salt.
In the past which ever pundit (Keith Edwards, Brian Deane, Alan Shearer, Danny Murphy) has been mentioned, apparently they are all crap.
Whilst we’re at it, according to most posters on here every radio station (Talksport, Football Heaven) and tv show (Match of the Day) is also crap.

I think when ever anybody gives any opinion…especially a strong opinion….it’s easy to be disliked….what do you reckon Pommpey
Personally I think anyone who puts their head above the parapet…like a pundit on the radio or tv
Or even the volunteers on the excellently produced YouTube channels Sheffield United Way and Shoreham View deserve credit for their efforts.
I even give credit to Travelling Blade, he arguably makes himself look a bit foolish when he squeals when we miss a chance but it’s authentic and I respect that.
The production levels on some of our fan base Youtube channels has set a very high standard, it’s almost like watching a professional tv show. So thanks

You’ve sort of skimmed the nail on the head here. For me, it’s not about whether a pundit is right or wrong, it’s more about them having both an opinion and some enthusiasm or personality to go with it. A lot of those you’ve mentioned (the pros, not the vloggers) lack one or both of these, ergo they are shit (in my opinion).

Basically, have something interesting to say and don’t be dour about it. That’s all I want from co-comms, or the few times I accidentally catch any analysis.
