I guess most have logged on to watch a game have we any criticisms?

my major criticism is Gage he talks constantly all the f****** time from kick off to final whistle no one can hear the crowd just him all the time

another is no indication to how much injury time from the cameras on screen feed or constantly talking gage

As above. It sounds as if the commentators are in a soundproof booth, whispering so as not to disturb the badgers feeding just outside their window. It's more like listening to Springwatch than a football commentary.

For the Preston and Derby games, I switched to their feed. At least you could hear the crowd and catch the atmosphere. SUTV either need to set up external mics and TURN THE LEVELS UP in the booth, or sit the commentators on the gantry or in the south stand seats.

Overall I think its decent coverage, but Gagey muttering non-stop is definitely annoying.

Also it's hard to see the ball when it is passed quickly (I realise that this is rare), as it becomes semi-invisible.

I think it could be improved by showing live coverage of the kiosk queue debacle at half time and fisticuffs on BL at full time.

bump on this. what i would say is if you do want to try and get a long-range FM antennae, try 104.10, it works in Nottingham for me, at a guess i would imagine because it's the longest FM frequency. Bit sketchy on the lower parts of the city though.

I miss Paddys feed.

I haven't watched a game on SUTV but I did listen to Michael Tonge on Radio Sheffield when we played Southampton and was quite impressed with him.

I'm not entirely sure how Gage got the gig on SUTV. I know he did Radio Sheffield a few times but with the greatest respect to him he's not a club legend or anything and as far as I know he's not known for his expert analysis. I think it was Webding on Tufty Club who said Gage was complaining about "foreign keepers" on Saturday!

Carl Asaba is a better pundit than Keith Edwards. I've been impressed with him on Radio Sheffield.

He constantly talks. Repeats himself several times. Has to mention Billy every 2 minutes. His summary of our performance would often make North Korea blush. Keith goes on a bit but at least he's prepared to actually criticise!

This last few weeks, I’ve moaned about Dronfield’s Premier Epidemiologist for all manner of things, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I complained about him complaining. Terrible.
