I can see both sides with Naysmith - he was a good player and seemed to put in a shift whenever I saw him play. No argument that he would have been expensive though, hence value is questionable.

Great thread by the way, but there's only one way to view that signing.

Ched only good in league 1 didn't do what he was bought for in the Championship

True but if it hadn't have been for his extra carricula activities, he'd shown easily enough in league 1 to suggest he would develop into a very good Championship centre forward and who knows maybe more. Big shame all round.
