Henderson is a big donkey with an ability to win roughly 35-40% headers and knock ons Beattie probably won 75-80% headers BT was a different class to Henderson Far superior in virtually every aspect of the game. Hendersons only attribute is that he holds the ball up well but unfortunately we don't have anyone to play off him.
As for him being unfairly punished I believe you are right - he does get picked on by refs mainly due to his reputation as a big clumsy oaf!

I never mentioned his abilities in relation to BT i know BT was a cut above him, thats why BT has spent much of his playing time in the PL. I do believe he will do a job for us and hopefully the partnership of him and Evans will build a little better.

I am curious as to how many games Henderson will be allowed to go without scoring, or looking like scoring, before he's dropped.

Having lived through the Warnock era I know we've had some clunkers up front but the selection of a centre forward who can regularly go a whole game without a meaningful goal attempt really takes the cake.

I honestly think that if we get 10 goals out of Henderson for the season we will have done well - thats assuming he plays every match and is not injured or suspended as he was for half of last season. Its like the army buying a tank then its out of action for six months cos it keeps breaking down!!!

it wont work it just shows how shit blackwells attacking tactics are put the two biggest up front kick it high and they can head it in :thumbdown:

it wasn't like that against Watford though was it we had quite a good mix of long ball and passing game going on.
