Comparing our expected first eleven this evening against the team that started last season, I would say that we are looking stronger. Midfield has a better balance and is more athletic. Defence is possibly stronger with Gilchrist and Souttar. Attack is a bit hard to say but the main weakness is gk

Attack & GK are positions which will make or break the season. Much rather have Fodz than our current GK crop who aren’t at this level. We need more up front & wide forward positions.

Our strongest first 11 last season wasn’t always the issue

We had horrendous injuries to many in that strongest 11. If we get many injuries this time, we’ll struggle

Been banging on last season no pace . What I saw at Udders show we now have that . Still think GK and up front needs strengthening but defensively we have added some quality. We must have second worse injuries than Manure
