Is it too much to ask for a centre-forward?

Apparently we played two strikers up front today but it beats me who they were.

Have Cresswell, Ward, Evans et al. spent so much time running the channels in a 4-5-1

that they have forgotten the majority of goals are scored in the penalty area/box?

It pains me to say it but I fear the return of Henderson may be our best chance of

survival this season.

Id like to see a pair of any of our strikers given a run together, maybe then some understanding between players maybe built!

Give Evans and Boggy a run together IMO. None of them are pulling up any trees i know, but, Cresswell has looked absolutely clueless this season. I don't know what's wrong with Ward either. He was very poor against Ipswich especially.
I'm afraid we miss Henderson badly.
Ched does a lot of running during games but it's usually pulling out wide rather than breaking his neck to get in the area. IMO we can't do any worse than trying new partnerships.

Agree with what your saying. Ward and Cresswell are playing shocking at the moment. How demoralizing must it be for the youngsters in our squad knowing how shite our strikers are and that they cant get near the team. Maybe give Slew a start..

How the hell Cresswell gets a game these days is amazing. I am with you Gaz. I think Speed should give them a run of 4/5 games and see how they get on.

Cant really be much worse could it, however as soon as we fail to score the fans will be on Ched's back and GS will react by dropping them. I think we need to get out of the 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation and try to stick to the standard 4-4-2.
