So we've got McNulty which is great, hopefully he'll progress and chip in when needed but who is going to be the main man?

Are we really talking to Billy Sharp about a two year contract???/waiting for the new Southampton manager situation..?

I feel we need someone 'proven' with experience at this level like Sharp to fire us up the league!
Any more 'rumours'?

UTB!

Derby mates recon we're signing Conor Sammon and getting Mason Bennett on season loan. Don't know if there's any truth in either but would probably both do well at this level. Sammon would also provide us with a new 'joke' player if porter leaves!

I think there are better players available than Sammon

Mason Bennet was on loan at Chesterfield in League 1 last season and did naff all there.

For like two half games, what were you expecting 20 goals?
From what I've seen of England under 16,17 and 19 he looks a quality player and is very strong and quick

To fooking right it would , from bad to worse .

Forest have released none other than Marcus Tudgay
One of the players the pigs had to sell to pay there taxes , or go into admin ,
while carrying the children's hospital as sponsors on there rag shirts .
Shit player , destined for a life time of mediocrity .

Well, that would be very nice indeed!
Who wouldn't want Baldock in L1.

He's pretty good isn't he? I haven't seen enough of him myself but he scored plenty last season and has played a higher level. He's another little 'un though. I hope and believe our striker search will include a big centre forward (one who can play football, though. I don't want it to appear that I'm encouraging Hoof!)

Baldock's one of those players who seemed to on the up and up until injury at the Spammers...not sure how true this one is though as he seems to have been based 'dahn sarf ' all his career...still, if the right contract came along...

Pretty sure that Baldock is on a "legacy" contract at Bristol from their Championship days - somewhere in the region of £15,000 per week. I think we can safely say that unless he's willing to take a significant pay cut (think 50-75%) then this is a non-starter.

If we were looking anywhere I'd hope it was in Chuks Aneke's direction: 16 goals in a struggling Crewe side last season, he's available on a free from Arsenal and ticks the boxes: quick, strong, mobile, tall (1.00 on the Ryan Shawcross scale, (c) Bergen Blade ) and skilful.

Unconfirmed rumour: Billy Sharpe spotted at training ground this afternoon
