It's a domestic ban. He misses Sunderland and Liverpool.

Warnock has a history of letting players get booked on the Saturday before a League Cup game so their 1 match ban is served in the cup instead of the league.

Clarke doesn't have a number and wasn't even in the team photo despite being registered in the squad. He has no chance of playing. Would like him to though.

24.1 Each Club shall play its full strength in all Matches played under the auspices of The League unless some satisfactory reason is given. In the event of the explanation not being deemed satisfactory the Board shall refer the matter to a Disciplinary Commission which has the power to impose such penalties as it shall think fit.

A tricky choice , as you could make a case for any of them starting the game.

I'd prefer not playing Leon though. What is the point really? He does not have a future at the club, other than if we suffer with a lot of injuries. I'd rather focus on giving those game time who do have a future at the club.

Leon and Robinson for me. Robinson needs a concidence boost as he looks lacklustre in front of goal and a midweek goal could fire him up.

I’m pretty certain he’s suspended mate although I have been known to be wrong on many occasions.

Ravel to have a go at Deep-Lying marauding CM. Could Besic/Jags work in our system at LCB/RCB? - good time try this out as we need cover in these positions.

Rotate Fleck and Lunny - 45 mins each.

Didzy needs a goal (or 3) to get his shooting boots back, and I think Billy has something to prove for this season, we should let them have it in cup games.

We should rest McB, Robbo and Mousset (unless Mousse still needs to build match fitness?).

I want to see Verrips play to be honest... I see him as our potential 2nd keeper, we need to test him against opposition.

I think we have issues up top. Goldie and Sharp are already ruled out and you'd presume the same with Mcburnie after he played through injury vs Everton. Robinson has had hamstring trouble on various occasions this season so I doubt he'll start either. That leaves Clarke and Moose - the latter a player Wilder might be loathe to risk due to the aforementioned issues with other players (Saturday is the priority). I'll guess that we'll play two tens (L Freeman and Morrison) with Moose or Clarke as the lone striker or centre of our three.
The rest of the team will be similar to the Blackburn game imo.

Leon is only in the squad through default and as such should not be in the starting line up imo , the team will ultimately be decided by wilder but i think we should go for attacking players who are genuinely in and around the starting team to try and build up some sort of confidence in them with regards to goalscoring / playing etc

Gribbin has just completed a fairly gruelling 67 minutes for the U23s this afts. Jake Young is an U23 regular this season. He was NOT selected today. Stephen Mallon, who is an experienced U23 player, been on loan in Australia. He hasn't featured much for the U23s this season. But, for the record, he also didn't play this afts.
