DW is not ruling out strengthening. Can't understand why is only thinking about strengthening. Surely got to pull out all the stops to push us over the line. It's gonna be close unless we can find some home form, the more troops the better. Nothing to loose. Got nothing on the bench to change games. Although I hear our Lionel Messi is back in the shape of Porter..

Might depend on more outgoings I guess. We don't know how tied his hands are. and let's face it, if this squad can't get us out of League 1, something has gone terribly wrong.

Getting poorter back is a worry for me,in the instance that dw is stuck with what he`s got, whether he`s happy with that or not.
Were in a position now that we musnt blow, adding firepower to the squad will only increase the chances of promotion,so putting a bit of money in the squad is essential in my opinion.

Remember the bit in Lord of the Rings where Gandalf suggested that Gollum might still have a part to play in everything, and then indeed Gollum was ultimately responsible for destroying the ring? Well, Porter could be our Gollum, and Danny Wilson our Gandalf. If Porter runs out on all-fours for the warm-up tomorrow, we'll know...

I agree, but we should have done that last season. I know Hoskins being injured was unforeseen, but there was always a chance Ched would go down, so we should have had a contingency plan in place from January. Easy to say with hindsight, but signing someone decent in January (a striker i mean) would surely have meant we wouldnt even have been in the playoffs. Turning up there with a half fit Porter n half fit Cresswell was pretty embarrassing.

I think if we were ever going to pull out all the stops, it'd have been last year. i think we're just trying to edge over the line without committing too much in case we miss out. I can understand it, but its arguably more risky than spending in a division that is frankly there for the taking.

As gandalf looked upon the balrog(Donny rovers),he thrust down his staff into the bridge of kha`saduhn, and bellowed"YOU SHALL NOT PASS"
