Im coming to match tomorrow with my 3 year old daughter just wondered if anyone knows of anywhere nearby I can store her pushchair while we go to the match have used copthorne hotel the previous 4 times but they got arsey with me last time because I wasnt staying there

If it's one of those I-Candys, or Bugaboo, you can store in the back of my Van if you wish.

Ts+Cs apply.

You could phone reception and ask if there's anywhere: 0114 253 7200

For a three year old are reins feasible instead?

Or shoulders?

Indeed, 2 year old Miss Fox knows who to play that game with.

Mummy makes her walk the mile home from nursery, including up Meersbrook Park and will counter no grumbling or pulling.

With Daddy she magically loses the ability to use her legs after 50 yards and demands "shoulders".

Tried ringing the club but they can't do anything due to health and safety was thinking about not bringing it at all its just I normally make a day of it its just easier with the pushchair thats all

*awaits follow up threads, 'storing a nuclear submarine while I watch the game', 'storing a flying saucer while I watch the game', etc, etc *
This is a game i can get on board with...
I'm bringing a full sized Roman cruciform with Jesus still nailed to it where can I store this?

We've used https://bagbnb.com/ for left-luggage before... looking at the site, there's a few places in Sheffield.

Can't argue with that to be fair.

I remember walking past a seemingly prone pushchair once, it got up and attacked me. Inconsiderate bas83rds.

Club shop? Might be worth a try?

When I was about 14 years old I was returning back to Sheffield after a few days at my brother's house in Leeds. I had a rucksack on my back (with my sleeping bag and pyjamas in it) and a tee-square in my hand (my brother had given it to me because I was starting to do tech drawing at school). As I arrived into Pond Street I saw loads of Blades heading to the game. I'd forgotten there was a match on! I checked my bus times back to home and realised I wouldn't have enough time to get home and back into Sheffield again for the game. So, I went straight to the match, with rucksack on my back and tee-square in hand.

I got through the turnstiles and started going up the steps to the kop and I was stopped by a policeman. He asked me what was in the rucksack? I said, "sleeping bag and pyjamas". He looked at me gone out and asked me to open it - sure enough, there was my sleeping bag and pyjamas. And then, turning to the tee-square, he said, "what are you planning to do with that?" And I said, "tech drawing!". :D I explained I'd just come from staying a few days with my brother. He accepted my explanation but said I couldn't take me rucksack and tee-square into the match. So he suggested I took them to the club shop on John Street - which I did. And they stored them for me until after the game.

Now, that little club shop was tiny, so if they could do a favour for me with a rucksack and tee-square, the big club shop that we have now should be no problem?

Good luck!

Crab airlines wants to store one of their planes at the ground so the pilot can watch the match, like to see Berge dribble round that bugger..........

When my eldest was pushchair age, I refused to take him to the game because I felt it would impact on my enjoyment and I'm a selfish twat.
His Uncle did take him at this age though and he asked the people who ran the burger van in the car park (no clue if its still there) if he could stash the pram under their van :)

Many years ago Bert was going to Syria (In the days when you could) and heading for Heathrow straight after the match. He didn't fancy leaving his car plus luggage in some sidestreet so he emailed the club and asked if he could park in the club car park.
Derek Dooley immediately said yes.
The only downside was having to take Greenwich Blade back to London after the game. 😁

Belch, Barnsley, and Bert's Benz

A pushchair chained to a lamp post will confuse our kidney punchers. Have to think of the fans...

50 yards is a good day from my experience!
