Bamford is getting no support from bbd,peck or ollie, RND has put in 3/4 good crosses and no one breaking their necks to back up on the rhs .

No attacking intent at all. Only tactic to play long balls to Bamford on his own v 3 massive centrebacks. And as the game goes on we get deeper and deeper in defence. No pace, no game plan except defend.

Soumare looks so much more composed than he did for us. Also helps that he constantly has an option to pass to. Clear evidence there for anyone who isn’t blinded by their love for Wilder that a better coach can and would improve this group.

Soumare isn’t better than Peck & Phillips, but he’s the one controlling the midfield with Galbraith because they actually want the ball and make themselves available.
