Jan Age I agree with the point you are saying that brayford and sharp can't do it all alone. Which i feel is some times expected of them. But also didn't think anyone was particularly bad today bar from sammon and Collins. And simply don't think them two can cut it and are simply not good enough. Need to get rid of them both and find suitable replacements that are good enough.
Totally disagree with you when you say the midfield is simply not good enough, coutts has been man of match for 2 matches now simple as that. Hammond is playing well and adding strength to the midfield and doing the job he is meant to be doing. Bash made some good tackles and puts the work rate in. Agreed Woolford has not been good since joining us bar from the last 2 matches where he seems to have picked it up and hopefully he will keep this recent form up not the form he first had when joining.
Our left hand side is poor?? Typical let's all jump on mceverly as it all must be his fault as usual. I don't see why mceverly is always getting slated for his performances. I really don't mind mceverly when he is playing left back. Agreed he is not a CB but is more than adequate as a left back for a league one side.
Also I have never been a massive fan of George long but credit where it is due and he has really put some good performances in in the last couple of weeks. Fair play I think today the second goal he should have got a hand to but I don't think you can turn around and say he is not good enough based on his recent performances. He has been in the team of the week for the last 2 weeks running if I am not wrong?
How you can go on about all these points but yet fail to mention Collins when he seems to be the source of the problem week in and week out is beyond me.
Not to sure you have been going to the same matches as me. Played well today and was very unlucky not to come away with the 3 points as we had chances to put the game to bed. Agreed it was a 6 pointer that we really needed to win but there was positives to be taken out of the game.
