Still needed

I think we all know Collins needs to go. Jay Mac has been playing a bit better lately though.

Time for Adkins to do some business.

They'll do nothing. My prediction, a cheap midfield signing and a defender on loan. Forget it.

Why ? If we're going to be in L1 next season let's re-start building NOW.
We won't be able to offload many, and even if we did and replaced them, it would be nowhere near enough to be able to challenge for promotion. And too late.

I'd love it if we get the right players, but I know we gave to get rid of some of the bloat first

Funny nothing is Cameron's fault when he's been running the country for 6 years but everything is Adkins fault and he'sonly been here 6 months.

Cameron is a respectable and honourable leader of men that has brought the country a long way in 5 years. Adkins is the opposite in just about every sense.

Can we all be completely honest and just agree that we are not good enough to go up this season.

Today we started poorly and then went a goal down. At this point there was a dramatic response and we really chucked the kitchen sink at them and were unlucky not to get more than the 1 goal.

But and this is the critical point;

our half time team talk must have been a pat on the head and instructions to start as we did the first half.

This coupled with the fact we have no substance and the fact that Ptb had a rollicking and came out fighting meant that we melted away like little boys.

1) Sharp and Brayford can not do it all
2) The formation is 4-4-2 not 9-1
3) our midfield is horrendous
4) our left hand side is poor
5) GK not too enough

In short we have too many deficiencies to mount any sort of serious challenge.

Jan Age I agree with the point you are saying that brayford and sharp can't do it all alone. Which i feel is some times expected of them. But also didn't think anyone was particularly bad today bar from sammon and Collins. And simply don't think them two can cut it and are simply not good enough. Need to get rid of them both and find suitable replacements that are good enough.

Totally disagree with you when you say the midfield is simply not good enough, coutts has been man of match for 2 matches now simple as that. Hammond is playing well and adding strength to the midfield and doing the job he is meant to be doing. Bash made some good tackles and puts the work rate in. Agreed Woolford has not been good since joining us bar from the last 2 matches where he seems to have picked it up and hopefully he will keep this recent form up not the form he first had when joining.

Our left hand side is poor?? Typical let's all jump on mceverly as it all must be his fault as usual. I don't see why mceverly is always getting slated for his performances. I really don't mind mceverly when he is playing left back. Agreed he is not a CB but is more than adequate as a left back for a league one side.

Also I have never been a massive fan of George long but credit where it is due and he has really put some good performances in in the last couple of weeks. Fair play I think today the second goal he should have got a hand to but I don't think you can turn around and say he is not good enough based on his recent performances. He has been in the team of the week for the last 2 weeks running if I am not wrong?

How you can go on about all these points but yet fail to mention Collins when he seems to be the source of the problem week in and week out is beyond me.

Not to sure you have been going to the same matches as me. Played well today and was very unlucky not to come away with the 3 points as we had chances to put the game to bed. Agreed it was a 6 pointer that we really needed to win but there was positives to be taken out of the game.

Collins getting all the flak when Edgar was caught out badly twice for the first goal. So it goes.

new defenders,,

Somewhat unlucky today but the defence threw it away for us, also still worried about the lack of pace in midfield.

Important JTW coming up

Important only from the view of unloading players it seems

Uploading players is looking more and more remote with each passing interview

It'd be absolute stupidity to spend anything in January.

We're not going up, so no point whatsoever. Just money wasted on panic buying.

Wtf do you know?
Have you 'got your wording wrong again'?

Very balanced response....

Re; the left hand side - Mcv + Woolford = poor

Re; Midfield - as a 4 I think (and it is only an opinion) collectively they are poor and do nowhere near enough to support the strikers/striker (look how often Billy has to drop deep or out wide to collect the ball) - individually they have all made improvements.

I agree with your analysis of Long but I still think he falls someway short of the standard required right now (as does Howard)

2nd half was shocking tip tappy and no urgency 1st half was great - however two great strikes by them for two of their goals.

Agree re Collins.....

Weren't all the Peterborough goals from our right hand side, Edgar's side of defence rather than Collins'?

Okay I get it you all hate Collins, but he is not the main problem here. He alone cannot be blamed for those goals today. Just seen the 3rd. Brayford, Edgar and Hammond should all have stopped him before he got a chance to shoot. Collins wins more ariel battles than mceverley and Edgar . Mceverley is a red card waiting to happen. No idea how to win a tackle

I agree, where was the bump, the free kick, the potential yellow card and the closing any opportunity that Johnny-Talent might have to fire a shot off? They weren't shy against Cov.
