Why on earth were there mobs of stewards lining the full length of the Kop towards the end of the game like we were at home to Leeds United and expecting a pitch invasion or something?
Protection for Sordell? Or a massive overreaction to what happened at the Shammers?
Utterly bizarre, I don’t think I’ve seen as many stewards combined all season.

Maybe it was a drill for when those nawty cockernees of Millwall descend upon us in a few weeks.

For some reason us on the BL upper could only get out at Westfield corner or the exit next to the office block on JS side. Stewards had already been around explaining what was happening before the tannoy announcement that we were to exit at 'N1'. Heard two stewards at the end talking saying they'd been working their ages and had never heard it referred to as N1. I'd say deffo a drill for up coming games against Forest, Cardiff and 'Wall.

So for high profile games everyone in the BL end, be it the BLUT or the Westfield, will have their exiting opportunities severely restricted so that they won't fight with the away fans on Bramall Lane? Seems a bit of an over reaction. There's only been problems with Norwich as far as I know. And the pigs obviously.

They did this for the pig game and the queues were ridiculous.

A few lads pushed past the couple of stewards manning the exit door upstairs and most followed, leading to a few hundred blades spilling onto an empty John Street between 2 cordons of robocops and some paddy wagons, which caused some serious police confusion and anger as they tried to disperse everyone through a six foot exit between the vans and the fence.

Fucking amateurs.

I thought he said "M1" I was half expecting him to say "and will the Burton fans please leave via A38"

I must admit I started looking for exit M1, could only see A-G exits up there.

Was it Phase 5?

Code 6 Crabby, keep up. Phase 5 is get ready to leg it up't Moor before 't bomb goes off

The BLUT exiting was surely experimental. And it worked fine. They'll only have to open more exits if it's quite full up there.

I went to watch Forest at Rotherham a couple of seasons ago and the Forest supporters were showing off. Calling Millers "A town full of peados" and Millers returning "scab scab". Forest fans were fighting with each other (one was a women) and about 4 of them got ejected by stewards once the fracas died down.
It was a sell out and we were in the bottom corner of the New York right next to the Forest fans. There was about 50 stewards and police keeping them apart.

The things they do on community service now baffles me!

I can exclusively reveal that code 6 is an imminent warning of Simmo's pen kick returning to Earth....and they have been practicing trying to catch it...

:rolleyes::D

I have it on good authority from a mate at NASA .......

The ball from Simmo's penalty is stuck in one of the solar panels on the Chinese satellite that is just about to fall out of orbit .......:eek:

The Chinese have complained to the FA about our interfering with one of their satellites and Sir Trevor has ruled that we must be deducted 10 points for third party interference .......:eek:o_O

More like plan 9 from outer space if you ask me

Could be something in that. When Bela Lugosi died midway through filming, they had a stand in doing his part. Would explain what happened when Hammond was here, no way he could have been a Premiership footballer, must have been a stand-in ;)

I was on BLUT too and the steward came round saying 'exit from N1 when you leave'. I had no idea where N1 was - I just followed the crowd out.

No no no.
A code six is a message to Paul Woolhouse to meet up in the Pointing Dog later.

Got to say when I first heard we couldn't exit via the concourse levels at BLUT I did wonder if they'd cornered Woolhouse in there ... imagine 25 years bunked up in the bowels of the Bramall Lane stand, only venturing out after dark for refreshments, 3 knocks on the back door at the Cricks and all that. Be about reet for SYP, 1/4 of a century and he's been under their snout, sorry nose, all along.
