Stevenage have a 100% home record against the blades apparently.

We have League Ones worst record for away goals this season with only 5.

Stevenage have the poorest home record this season achieving only 7 pts.

That a draw then?

we drew 0-0 at stevenage in the play offs 2012

Just had a look on Steve's Forum..Borochat.
One poster made a decent post on previewing the Match, then identified Porter as our main man to watch.
At least they won't have Lopez banging in a Hattrick this time as he's out on loan.

One To Watch:
The Boro backline will have to keep an eye on Chris Porter if we are to pick up points at the weekend. Porter first started his career at Bury where he played 71 time scoring 18 goals at Gigg Lane. In 2005 he then made the move to Oldham Athletic scoring 28 goals and then to Motherwell we he scored 23 goals. He played under Nigel Clough at Derby County scoring 9 goals in 44 appearances and then found himself at Sheffield United. He has been a regular at Bramall Lane scoring some very important goals, one against Boro in the Play Off Semi Final. He has also been out on loan to Shrewsbury Town and Chesterfield.

The shock defeat there last season was the beginning of the end.

I remember looking for the result and thinking it must have been a mistake.

Got a really good feeling about this one. I smell an absolutle destruction.

Stevenage 0 - 1 Blades
o.g 90+8

Let's hope they watch Porter like a hawk. Put three defenders on him. Then Baxter can work his magic. ;)

I remember around 10 years ago going to watch Worksop Town against Stevenage. Shows how far the Blades have fallen, whilst they have risen.

Biggest game of the season for us today imo.

Will decide whether we can focus on pushing up the league after New Year or if we're in for a scrappy dog fight at the bottom.

UTB.

I recall remarking to Mousey that Lopez looked like a Sunday Leaguer... not long before he scored the first of what would turn out to be a hat-trick :(

Never mind Foxy. I've watched and enjoyed, hat tricks by Sunday League players. Unfortunately, they were in the Sunday League games. Just a suggestion like, I know you have a lot on your plate, but could you ask others to scout the Sunday Leagues, Thursday League, and wherever ,and tell the Blades who may make it. I am serious, I know that kids are watched from an early age but other clubs have discovered talent over the age of 8. Why can't we look a bit harder at who is available, at an older level? There are far too many Sheffield lads signing for other clubs.
