Watford are set to sell striker Steve Kabba at the end of the season - only months after signing him from Sheffield United. (Daily Mirror)

One of his team mates did the player thing on Soccer AM at the weekend and he said Kabba was the giggest moaner in the club.

Aye SF, it was Ben Foster.

I didn't really know how to take the comment when he said it, as he didn't look to be laughing.

It looks even more like a good piece of business by NW, plant a whinger in the oppositions camp and demoralise them all and get paid for it.

Definatly take him, and imo i wouldn't have let him go from you

He may be a moaner but a pretty good player.

Shouldn't have got rid.

He didnt want to play for the club he just didnt want to be here

what could we do he wasnt going to perform for us

Looking back im glad we managed to £500k for him.

We save him from a career ending injury and give him a nice 2 year deal and he repays us with dire performances and poor attitude.

Looks like he is just doing the same at watford and they will be lucky to get there money back on him.

Slightly unfair.....when he came back he was awesome.....he lost it probably through attitude....and agree in the end it was best to let him go.

He did have a great spell when he came back that got us lots of points.

Well once we gave him a new contract thats when he turned crap.

Yeah he helped us get alot of points we wernt a 1 man team.

I used to really like Kabba but now i think he is a complete prick.

Hi all first post

Kabba in the forest game (play off) was superb thats the image I remember of him and the beginning of last season when he was on fire.

Kabba and the likes of Danny Webber sulk if things are not going the way they want and if they had 1% of Nick Montys attitude they would still be in the team or at worst on the bench.

That said Kabba did a job for us and we might not be in the Prem if he did not score the goals he did last year

Welcome to the forum and what a considered first post :)

Seeing Kabba in his later days at the Lane, it was obvious from his body language that his head and his heart just weren't interested in playing for the Blades. At Sheffield United, more than anything else, it's a certain attitude that will see you through.

Anyway, the latest rumours are that a certain S6 club are interested in buying him...

LOL I take back all the nice things I said :D

Well, if he can be as "good" for them as he has been for Watford... :D

What do you say DJ (our resident tame Wednesday fan)?

I remember his first start back after the injuries against Crewe, amazing optimism came over me when him and Gray was linking and we pasted them 4-0 Gray and Kabba with 2 each. It looked so bright.

The following season where he started off with goals so well early in the season and put us at the top, but was still being lazy. But it didn't matter so much when he was getting the goals. When the contract talks came about, I don't believe we saw what we all know as the "proper" Kabba.

As Uniblade says, think back to the forest Semi where he was awesome.

yeah... in rags today that hes leaving watford at end of season. not fitting in with the plans there.

Definatly take him tbh

I know many Wednesday fans will say feck that, he's an ex pig etc etc

But, WHY?

He's a fookin quality striker and like someone said before, without him you possibly wouldn't be where you are now

The only thing that would make me a bit wary of signing him is his injuries. He is very injury prone and that's a thing that we always seem to have a problem with. Kabba has the potential to knock in over 20 goals in this division, but whther he could stay fit for us would be the turning point

Wednesday are welcome to him.

If he continues his current form at wednesday that will be just fine. :)

I doubt he'd go to the pigs anyway, as didn't he want to move back down south? I can hardly imagine that the sty, and that prize buffoon Brian Laws, are going to be much of a temptation for him to come back.

I'd say it was a good shout getting rid of him, moaners demoralise a team, can't have that, dumping him with Watford - cunning plan, good work NW
