I didn’t mind him, but he wasn’t really better than anyone we already had and at the time he was reportedly on about £70k a week which then dropped to £50k a week. So he was on roughly twice the wedge we were paying our highest earners. A player has to be an absolute game changer in the championship for what that lad has been earning.

Was absolutely outstanding the season Leicester went up to the Prem, sort of player you pay money to watch. Two poor ish seasons followed but Leicester are a basket case of a club. Would love us to sign him but there is zero chance he’s a Wilder type.
