Easily the best player towards the end of last season, played with passion and kissed his badge on a few occasions.

i couldn't go saturday but by all accounts he was head and shoulders above the rest in his performance.

But,

Is he still going to be with us on 1 September? I like Montgomery but would prefer to lose him in order to save Quinn. I even wouldn't mind losing Monty & Willo in order to keep Quinn.

What's everybody think?

Seriously, I think he'll do a good job in ths division, but as with them all, he's vastly overpaid for his abilities. I'd like to sell the lot, but Quinn is the one I'd rather be left with.

He was head and shoulders above everyone on Saturday and unfortunately, anyone looking at him and Monty could come to only one conclusion. However, plenty of managers see something in Monty and it depends what they're looking for. Squinny could be the difference for us this season but the fact he's looking a class above in the 3rd tier doesn't mean he'd neccessarily walk into most teams in the division above as he has been inconsistent in the past couple of seasons at that level.

Could never understand some of the negative comments about him last season. Whatever his shortcomings his commitment to the cause is never in doubt. Agree with above. Think he could be a big asset this year.
