I expect better from a sheff utd forward. Bet you clapped higdon as well, pathetic.
I have ever slagged off a player who has played ok. If Higdon played well, i would him clapped him but obviously you wouldnt have because, once you dont rate a player, you will never praise them if they play well. I.E. a definition of a scapegoat

He did...MGW was poor but when fully fit he will win us games on his own. Sharp looked tired which i am not surprised at given his recent efforts. McBurnie has often been poor but he hasnt the last 3 games
MGW was poor by his standards but was still involved a lot and did do some beat play at times without being anywhere near his best. Billy was his usual self, just plugging away and working without doing a great deal, just hoping for that chance, just his normal game. Both head and shoulders above McBurnie who was useless. Everyone can see that bar his fanboys. He’s useless and will cost us promotion if he’s a starter.

But mcb hasnt played well yet, that is the problem. No better than oli burke so far.

How come MGW has the “rusty” excuse but McB doesn’t ?
He’s hardly played !
Its because we have seen the quality mgw has in previous games, and in such a short space of time. We have had mcb for much longer and he has hardly ever shown the same level in terms of quality for his position.

Let's be fair, since he signed, he hasn't been disappointing, he's been wank. He's been injury prone and when he regularly played (apart from a little spell 1st season) it was in one of our worst ever runs. He's also had other problems and with all the Stone Island bollocks, has come across as a bit of a cock.

But he wasn't that bad today. He's done well in the Championship before and in this last 3 months of the season with the injuries we've got, he could be key. Twat previously or not, if he gets a couple and gets some confidence, he could be the difference between us going up or not

I'm not sure why people are queuing up to slate him on the football front.

First game he's started in ages and looked very rusty. Still, I thought he did ok in his all-round game. Needs to do better with those chances though.

He was better than MGW and I notice no thread slagging him off.
You need glasses mate.

He was average which was an improvement. Showed well for it early on but regularly gave it away. Bullied by their CH again but don't blame him for leaving one on him, it was pay back (if same player as haven't seen it back yet). Good chance to score but maybe ball from Sharp was a bit behind him. Missed target with free header first half. Robinson MOM for me with Bash close 2nd.

I think that’s because at least MGW tries, McB just doesn’t look interested

Thought he's been OK coming on as sub last couple of games without looking like scoring but was cack again today.

He just never looks like scoring, he shoots like he's wearing flippers when he shoots and never gets any power or direction on headers

I've said it before but I've seen under 11 players who can strike a ball much netter than mcburnie

I've been advocating starting McBurnie, after all there's no future in continuing to play Billy and Didzy forever. After a couple of encouraging cameos in the last 2 games I was hoping to see him do well.... he was very poor as others have said. His touch was abyssmal, a couple of times he actually set them going on the attack his passing and control were that poor. I was hoping we'd take him off after an hour. I thought Billy did ok, showing all the things like holding it up and bringing in his own team mates that McB seemed incapable of.

Just on Berge, fuck me he gives me a heart attack every time he gets the ball. He was so slow to make up his mind, he nearly got caught a few times.
I actually thought Robinson did quite well, some good tackles and vital interceptions, really difficult as he had their best player (Koroma?) on his side too.

McBurnie never really sprints, whatever the situation, he’s constantly doing that slow, languid, half hearted jog. He doesn’t anticipate receiving the ball or create space by dragging his marker out of position with his movement.
Within five minutes of coming on Ndiaye sprinted into space, left his marker, received a pass and played a through ball to Bogle who crossed it into the box, more than McBurnie had offered in the previous 80 minutes.

Billy Sharps doing all the running and pressing, while ‘Mr Soft’ bounces about doing fuck all. We should be taking the workload of Sharp if were playing with two up front, not doubling his workload, no wonder we never looked like scoring.

Seriously we have to look to shift him on asap, he’s a fucking embarrassment. I’m not convinced Jebbisons the world beater some hope he is, but I’d give Jebbisons Nannan a run, before I’d put McBurnie in the starting 11 again. 😤

Agree with most of that apart from the bit about jebbison, hes the real deal from what I've seen of him
