Another assured performance from Howard and kicked well.
Again, he didnt have much to do. The best thing he did today was the smart thinking punch in the 1st half to deal with a difficult looking cross. Near the end of the game he failed to hold a ball on the left side of the box and fell down but thankfully the ball bounced nicely to one of our defenders to clear the ball away. As for his kicks, well, nearly all his kicks were to the heads of the two tall Shrewsbury centre backs but, again, this might have been under instructions because I noticed that our 5 midfielders (expecting Baxter to lose his aerial challenges every time) were ready in their positions to battle for the ball that was headed by the CBs. had I been the Shrews manager I would have told the CBs to leave Howard's kick for Weale to pick the ball up as the keepers kicks go further up field than the CBs headers
