Thinking about how quite a lot of our best players have songs/chants Leon, Fleck, Duffy etc why doesn't Stearman who was arguably our signing of the season (Blackman close second) have one have we not thought of one for him or is there one that nobody wants to sing

I've been quite neutral on the Blackman vs Moore debate on this forum but that "save" by Blackman on Saturday where he patted it straight towards their scorer was the kind of stuff some of our fans wanted Long guillotining for.

Stearman can only be classed as signing on the season, due to none of the others playing.............

“Richard Stearman, football genius.” Wolves used to sing that I’m informed, but as more of a piss take as he was only 50% loved there

I suppose once in a blue moon you can let it go.

Not disputing he's a good defender but that doesn't mean he suits being in the middle of a 3. You need a talker, someone who can tell the others where to be at any given moment, when to go when to sit. If we had some sort of machine to blend 2 players into 1 we could put him and Jake Wright in it and have the answer to our problem but we haven't.

I honestly don't think Stearman is up to that task. In a 2 I think he might be very good.

For me a centre half is as key as anything else this summer. I don't think Wolves will spend enough to see Coady surplus to requirements unfortunately.

Just do 3 players in one song:

"Who's the greatest Centre Back in all the land? It's Stearman, man, it's Stearman!
Who's the greatest Right Back in all the land? It's Freeman, man, man, It's Freeman, man!
Who's the greatest Keeper in all the land? It's Blackman, man, man, it's Blackman, man!"

Then if you really want to carry on...
"Who can play all over the football pitch? It's Chris Basham, oh it's Chris Basham!
Who's the biggest scape goat in all the land? It's John Lundstram, oh it's John Lundstram!
Who's the hardest Scotsman in all the land? It's Johnny Fleck, oh it's Johnny Fleck!
Who's the biggest cunt to ever play for us? It's Dean Hammond, oh it's Dean Hammond !"

Thinking about it, we do need a Capo!

Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but here's 'A Song For Richard'.

An upgrade on Wright in the same way one kick in the bollocks is better than two.

If we're to kick on next year our entire defence needs serious consideration as we've leaked goals all season. Whether it's personnel or tactics, there's certainly room for improvement there...

If you watch it back, the shot took a big deflection which caught him cold.

I've just gone and watched it a few times, I'm struggling to see any kind of deflection. Perhaps there was one but if there was it can only be described as slight and being honest Blackman should have done a lot better with that effort. Moore would have been crucified on here by many if he'd done the same.
