Don't let facts get in the way of a good rant and conspiracy theory.
So because the Prince has said we are not moving, does that mean we aren't allowed to talk about hypothetical scenarios under future owners?

I know we aren't going anywhere. We aren't getting relegated either, but that doesn't stop us talking about hypothetical points tallies to avoid relegation.

Bramall Lane has the potential to be all things to all men. I have shivered and got soaked on the old Kop in the 60s and 70s, but I did enjoy a few games in one of the corporate boxes when a family friend had one in his company name years ago.
I’m quickly reaching the age and infirmity, that a few comforts would be welcome if I could ever afford it. lol
My kids have season tickets and seem to be enjoying a few away games now too, even though I am exiled by choice.
Please stay where you belong, at the true home of our club. Just make comfort optional for us decrepit old buggers. 🙏

That’s probably worth a thread of it’s own though. A ‘what would you do if money was no object’ type thing.

I think that developing the currant site would be sweet
True. But with all the corporate revenue required for the site to be a success , do you think any developer would be raisin enough money for the venture to be viable. Maybe we should bring the Sultana of Brunei on board.
Edit. Chuffinell Sean. Beat me to it.
Second edit. And I Should Coco. I must be slowing down.

If we had a new owner who was absolutely minted, and had aspirations for us be a top 10 club that regularly competes in Europe, he may see the Lane as a bit shabby and embarrasing - not the kind of place where he'd want to schmooze his rich chums. Ego would play a part with the right (or wrong) owner
Seriously? If your sister had wheels she'd be a bike.

Our car park is nowhere near big enough. Enjoyed the vid though.

As nice as their new stadium is, it's still a bowl. Once inside, you'd struggle to differentiate between that, the Emerates, Bayern Munich etc. Call me old-fashioned but give me Villa Park, Anfield, St James Park and The Lane any day of the week!

We will find a way even if it means we have to move Moose's Lambo.

I think City College tram stop is no more than 10 mins walk through the back streets. After crossing the roundabout you follow the River Sheaf (Sheaf Walk) as far as Dutchess Rd, then follow Clough Rd to the ground. Shame the ground isn't signposted at all from City College.
SYPTE say 13mins from that stop to the lane. Granville st is the nearest tram stop. Of course those on the council at the time made sure their was a service that stopped bang outside the pig sty.

Yep to Bramall Lane itsself, probably a couple of minutes less to Shoreham St. Takes me 10 mins to the kop anyway. Not sure if SYPTE know about the Sheaf Walk shortcut

Good facilities are certainly not for the bigger Blades who consider it the mark of a man to walk to the bogs in the pissing down rain and the paddle through a 2 inch deep lake of stinking piss to unload into an already overflowing trough.

Is that going via the Rutland for a pint on the way?
Another Star walk entry? Maybe we should run it every pre season Granville College tram stop to the South stand players entrance. £5 entrance fee all proceeds to charity the winner gets a bigger Blade badge or a pair of Puma trainers once worn by Barry Bannan.

We could just extend the Kop as far back as McDonalds?

You would be disqualified before you got onto Granville Road. :)

Why don't you just buy a firestick and an IPTV subscription if you don't want the hassle of a short walk? I'm sure even your dodgy knees could make it from your TV to the kitchen and back for the half time brew/pint.

Now why would I do that when I have watched every away game this season for free. The original point was public transport to the lane is not the best, car parking around the lane is harder to find every season due to council restrictions. Then one or two get upset that some fans can't stop to clap the players after full time, little wonder when their car is parked half way up Norfolk Park or on East Bank road.

Even If the pigs started being twats with us there would also be the option of Elland Road, City Ground or Pride Park.

It wouldn’t be ideal but if it’s just for one season I’m sure we could bite the bullet.
Out of those, I’d go Pride Park. No hostility with Derby and their chairman seems the sort who’d be up for a deal to try and get around FFP for another year.

The ground isn’t too far from the station either.

It would probably be a better option than Hillsborough to be honest. It wouldn’t be ideal not playing in Sheffield but you can imagine the reaction if we were going to play at our city rival’s ground.
