Who will ask you if you know how to enter the ground after doing it every other week since it was built and then send you to queue while half time in the rain to get your card activated that should already be

lol..........that reminds me of Boxing day at Oldham (before they had built the present away stand) where united fans (naughty naughty lot), rocked an old iron gate/fencing down and got in for nothing. Me?, I just wandered through an opening between two walls that led me onto the terraces!!

Anyone want to own up to.......removing the gate?

We won - 3 1 from memory - it was time when the song "jingle bells......oh what fun it is to see United win away" was in ascendency.

It does still baffle me at people who still don't know how it works. With a season card, you don't even have to put the card in the slot. I just tap my card onto it and it beeps in (don't know if that works for everyone).

Me and Ainsley have had some heated set-to's on other threads, but have the common sense to be able to chat about other stuff on other threads like normal people. Have you read the article you posted which includes, how to use a season card. It might explain why it works the way it does for you and everyone else

I must admit, I put my season card in the slot for first 2 games and it worked OK. This afternoon I'll try the correct way

I believe the readers are RFID units so your card only needs to be in the close vicinity to the reader - so putting it into the slot isn't the right thing but is still probably close enough for it to work.

These new readers are certainly much quicker to react to a card and it does seem quicker to get in now.

Sounds like there are new scanners that will read tickets on your mobile phone.

If this means you no longer have to go down and queue for 2hours to get your ticket after buying online, then this is very good news

I'd give you a tenner if it actually says "fat lads turnstile" , looking around the lane the fat lads turnstile should be standard.

Then perhaps one section could be the Lena Zavaroni turnstile?!

At the Derby game a helpful steward offered to open the exit gates to let me in. Cheeky sod. I have just lost 5 stones. Clearly not enough!!!
