'Substantial' loan fee with a view to a permanent in January.

Always a player who looked good and one we should maybe have been looking at. Good signing for Boro and maybe one less team to worry about on the Killa front for January.

Good signing for 'Boro but imo he is not as good as Killa.
When you look at the figures a replacement for Killa would cost, we may as well give him a deal and if we don't go up sell him on.

I think they're very similar players actually and it will be interesting to see what kind of fee Boro pay for him as I believe he's also in the last year of his current contract. Similar age, similar games although Killa has played more at this and higher level.

PNE have signed Neil Collins on loan (he of the ginger hair debut at Hillsboro) and they also have Chilvers back who missed most of last season injured.

They're talking about a fee of £3M and he has 2 1/2 years left on his contract so I guess we need to lower our expectations of what we could get for Killa in January !

Totally agree.Surely the club can come to an amicable arrangement to suite both parties.
Perhaps an increase in his income if we get promoted.
Would be a shame to unsettle the defence and have to sign a replacement at this stage when we have made a good start.
