Is the free ticket for this game included in the St offer and has to be used for this game, or can it be used for a subsequent cup game? I'm not attending the Worcester game due to work commitments, but if we progress further I will be able to utilise the free game

From Club Website...

Season Ticket Holders
This game is free of charge for all current season ticket holders.

All season tickets will automatically be activated and you can just use your season ticket to gain access to the stadium as you would at a home league game.

Unless otherwise stated supporters will sit in their own season ticket seat. Season ticket holders in the Pukka Pie Family corner will be informed by post as to where they are sitting due to this area being closed.

Tickets for non season ticket holders are on sale now.

Supporters purchasing tickets will be allocated 150 loyalty points

Season Ticket Holders who have signed up to the automatic cup scheme will also automatically have their cards activated. There will no charge.

I'm guessing you would have to contact the club to see if you can get the activation transferred to a different game - good luck!

There'll be that many season ticket holders trying to get rid of their freebies for this that I'd be amazed if anyone ends up paying the full £10 price.

I might pay the £10 just for the loyalty points

"Use" would have sufficed.

Do they only count the ones coming through the turnstiles or is it tickets sold or in this case allocated? We can't make it
I imagine they'll count all season ticket holders in the attendance. That's what they usually do

All tickets allocated will be counted in the attendance... Rather than people through the turnstiles.

Worcester fixture reminds me of my early youth. My Dad travelled to the away game in the cup when I was about 9 years old. He got home in the early hours after various rail delays and he had flu. He had stood on a grass bank in terrible weather and watched an awful game. We waited up for him and were so relieved when he got home, drenched and ill.

My Dad had served 6 years in the infantry in the Second World War but at my age that trip to Worcester was far more important than that. He didn't take me and I was not impressed, but in the absence of internet, even local radio and definitely no TV or phones, we had no means of knowing where or how he was. He returned home poorly but he was OK.

If you would like to see a clip of this game, see below. I suspect that you didn't miss much. But your dad would have been part of our clubs record home attendance. 17,042.

Brick wall behind one of the goals? No chance of this happening now!

The 'canal end' at our own 'lane' (St Georges Lane) lasted right up until we were forced to sell up three years ago to prevent winding up. A unique piece of football heritage and an interesting view for those away fans standing above the goal.

Many a player hurtled into that wall!
