Well I hope you are refering to our current manager Mr Blackwell, if os I think it is good news, look at the record of clubs who chop and change, its diabolical

more hoof ball, more big game chokeing, no plan b, more stephen quinn, another 6 points for the pigs, i cant wait for next season!

He's had two full seasons managing in the Championship and reached the play off finals both times. His record statistically also stands up pretty well over previous managers.

Providing Kevin McCabe has been convinced he's still motivated for the fight, then in my opinion its the right decision.

He can get us playing football, we've seen it happen this season. Fingers crossed we'll see more of it next.

What we have to do now is get behind him and whichever players remain/come in and try to ensure any hangover is as minimal as possible.

I think it's the right thing to keep him, however things need changing down there, give Speedy a bigger role, at least he's played at a high level, what has Ellis done? Hopefully shit players will get dropped and we won't keep sighing on mass every time quinn flicks the ball up, loses control, ends up on his arse, then gives possession away cheaply, or when Cotts loses the ball he tracks back meaning the opposing side don't score in the biggest game we have had for years.

rant done, yep it still hurts from monday!

All Hail King Kev! Now he needs all the fans behind him, it showed how much it hurt him on Monday, but he isnt jumping a sinking ship cos our ship wont sink! We will be back, and stronger next season as all these players will want to not only prove people wrong but make up for the hurt from Monday.

COYRAWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think it is the right decision overall, if we would have sacked him we would have had to pay off his contract, and if he would have walked we would have most likely paid for a new gaffer to come in at bdtbl (which isn't really the best way to spend money). I'm not his biggest fan and not sure if he is confident enough to take us where we all want to be, but instead of dwelling on the fact he is staying (if you are not a fan of his), why not get behind the bloke and the team next season and see what happens... it could turn out to be the best decision in history! UTB!!!

Fergie nearly walked out on Man U after a short time.......

Not my favourite sometimes but we've got to back him, things are far better than when he took over, lets fill those half empty glasses up!

Not always a fan, and too often we have gone long-ball or negative. But lets face it, last season he took us from heading for relegation under Robson to just missing out on the playoffs. This season, despite losing our best striker(s) he got us as far as the playoff final. It's not really that bad a record.

And you never know, there's always the chance that next season we could go one better. (Although after going for 40 years, I really should know better!)

This is good news; progress made over time tends to be far more stable then that which is made in haste. This season was something of a 'promotion by any means neccessary' campaign and so the results were more important than anything else.

Whilst we now have to try and win promotion without having much spending power i'm happy that we will likely be under less pressure to win promotion and so perhaps KB will be able to express himself a little more.

For me, the issue hasn't been at the top, Blackwell has a good record. I think it might be time to say 'thanks and goodbye' to Sam Ellis. As the latter part of the season progressed, Gary Speed was more and more to the fore on the touchline. I think it is time that he was given the job of assistant to Blackwell. He's more in touch with the modern game and the modern player and we seemed a better, more controlled team when he appeared to have more input. The same role and input that McCall had.

I can't see him being given any time at all after his outbursts following the final. Rightly or wrongly people will remember the negative, and if we start the season with the shame shit players playing the same shit tactics, fans will be calling for his head. I'm not condoning that, but I fear it's a fact. He's made a rod for his own back; let's hope he's got whatever it takes to bounce back better next season.

It could give us an edge next season if KB is really up for it, after monday's disappointment you could see in his eyes he was hurting as much as us, i agree another new manager could have set us back another few years.... And by the way, thanks for all the warm welcomes

Good call; i'd be please to see Speed promoted to assistant manager as i feel his knowledge of the game is perhaps something which the current management team is lacking.

I understand he really waded into them after the game, told them there would be a big clear out and that the big wages were a thing of the past. GOOD,

There does need to be a big clear out IMO, lots of deadwood to get rid of. There are loads and loads of players on frees because of the financial situation, the likes of Hahnemann and Lita and there will be loads more.

I am not saying sign those I am just using them as an example of the types of player available, having said that I would have preferred Lita to Beattie at Wembley!!

I do believe in consistency, so good that the manager is staying. But, and it's a big but, he's got to get some decent players in all departments (money) allowing, and get rid of some of the mediocre SHITE that could'nt pass water or hit a barn if they were stood in it. Our main area's to stengthen are obviously the midfield and forward line. Just hope he can get some quality.

And if we didnt chop and change we would have gone down.... robson.....

Fantastic!

Right lets look forward now, to the fight next season, not the negative of Monday.
