Unless I’ve missed it (entirely possible) the 25 squad we submitted at the end of the January window still applies?

Either way, our squad is currently missing our two best players (and most consistent performers) and we've got a few in there (Clarke, Zivkovic, Retsos and Besic) who are effectively dead wood, they aren't going to be used. It could hamper us hugely.

My thoughts exactly but they have increased the number of substitutes ie changed the rules mid competition and thought they may have slipped this one in.
Every rule seems to be changed at their whim now, even not allowing Legitimate goals. Oh for the days of jumpers for goals down in your local park.
Think I am getting old but it ain’t the game I grew up with and loved

I’ve tried to keep up to date on the changes, and the subs increase (first on the number able to be used, and secondly on the number on the bench) were two separate votes and reported on. I’ve seen nothing on the squad size being extended (it would need a similar vote by clubs to approve), so in the absence of that the original squads stand.

The PL hasn't mentioned the official squads so as far as I can tell the 25 man squad remains as it did after the January transfer window. Berge and Retsos are part of the 46 man u21 squad that we can also use so technically we have 71 players available for the rest of the league season. This doesn't include Duffy, Heneghan and Thomas who've returned from their loan spells or Holmes but then again all of their contracts are about to expire anyway.
