Does anyone have any info on the new squad numbers just wondering what to get on the back of the new shirts that's all :)

I should imagine that most of the people who were here last season will retain the same squad numbers... that's certainly what they've done for pre-season.

Other than Beats possibly taking the no9 :)

i thought that 6 was beatties number wherever he has played!

maybe im wrong but that was my understanding.

Think he chose it at the time because it was an "upside down 9" :)

scrap what i just said. Beattie wore number 10 at everton so thats my theory out the window

Didn't K Quinn have number 28 on his back against Sheffield?

With the youth teams it gets a little bit more confusing... but most of the first team squad will keep their numbers. I doubt Nicky Law is going to take Jon Stead's 8 or the Hungarian trialist to steal Speed's number 15.

Didn't the hungarian wear 19?

I thought Beattie had #6 last season because that was Jags' number, and they wanted the new record signing to attract the attention the old Player Of Every Season had.

Henderson is definately number 7 while beattie ha definately taken the number 9 shirt. Kilgallon is more than likely taking over at number 6 and sun ji hai is at 12. Also Grag Halford is number. I have this on great authority.......the players themselves.

Beattie to take Hulse's number 9 i should imagine and i'd rather have a new winger (if we get one that is) to have number 7.

What's Cotterill then? He was wearing no.7 on Saturday if you weren't there.

Here we are for those who can't get on the site:

5 Chris Morgan
6 Matt Kilgallon
7 Darius Henderson
