So 3 new signings![]()
Love to imagine that they’ve done it on purpose because it gets under the skin of some fans. Despite it meaning absolutely fuck all.We seem to give a prominent squad number to a player who'll play zero part every season. Maybe it's just superstition...
Also seen and thus confirmed you'd think

Who said Wilder wouldn't stand for first names on kits? The old gits will be furious haha
I think I read it had to be 1-25Can they be 25 in a squad but someone be number 88 for example? Or do they now have to be 1 - 25 now?![]()
Seriously wtf?Love United. Hate Lundstram. #######
Scapegoat 101Seriously wtf?
Didn't see Mcburnie with no.9 earlier!did notice the numbers for Morrison, Mousset and Robinson though. A player with his first name on the shirt, we're officially in the big time

I'm not even an old get and it pisses me off.
Only exceptions should be if you're under 10 or Brazilian. I think Morrison has issues with his dad like Dele Alli but it's still no excuse to not wear your last name on your shirt. Hell, Ryan Giggs was born Ryan Wilson but he hated his dad so much that he changed his last name to his mother's maiden name. He would have never thought of wearing "Ryan" on the back of his shirt.
Double-barrelled names also piss me off. Usually a sign of a broken home nowadays (although the Oxlade-Chamberlain parents are still together- maybe they thought going double-barrelled would add a sorely-needed touch of class to kids whose dad played for the pigs).
None of these things bother me in the slightest. To each their own though.
I think it looks childish and could very well lead to Prem players having Dazza or @overpaidenglishwonderkid69 on the back of their shirts.
