Dogshit
Fucking Rubbish
Waste of Money
Steargoat
Bestplayernowshit

Moore spilled one shot but still deflected it wide, apart from that he didn't do too much wrong. We all know he's a decent keeper. He doesn't deserve to lose his no.2 position due to his performance v Barnet.

Distribution was painful.

Don't drop him off it forever but I don't think anyone who started today can say they deserve a place in the 18 against QPR, 7 will get a place, maybe 6 if Madine goes on the bench but personally, and it might be an extreme view that I admit is unlikely to be shared, I'd rather take a risk on needing Eastwood because his curve is more likely to be upward. I've seen too many negatives from Moore since we've been in the Championship.

Said it a while ago but GK is a worrying position in summer unless we've magically got some money by then.

The main question is who deserves to make the bench from that bunch of chimps today? I’ll go Coutts, Dowell, Moore and then chuck in 4 from the academy because the rest don’t deserve even a sniff of the first team.

We all see games differently, I accept that, but I didn't think Cranie was bad.

Ok, now madine is here what will the squad on Saturday look like

Hendo
Bash Egan. JOC

Baldock. Norwood. Duffy. Fleck. Stevens

Mcgoldrick Sharpe

Subs

Moore. Coutts. Dowell. Leon. Madine . Washington. Johnstone

I would expect most of the above to be involved, is Bash available ? Whatever, there are going to be some disappointed players on Saturday, not much cover in defence if the above happens, if say Cranie is on the bench who misses out Washington? Moore,Coutts,Dowell and Madine certain to be there ,so who will the other three be?

Cranie will be ont bench, if Bash plays. I don't think Johnson will, and I'd be suprised if Bash isn't serving his ban??

Don't disagree but it does mean there is just one defensive player on the bench, looks an attacking squad but sending offs and injuries could prove a problem if they are from defence, be interesting

I'd say it'll be this, but with Clarke and Johnson swapped for a couple of defenders.

Can we recall Nosher or cancel the Lafferty deal please?

Moore
Bryan
Stearman
Cranie
Freeman
Johnson
Lundstram
Dowell
Coutts
Clarke
Washington

Let's give them a chance to redeem themselves.
Brilliant post.....if Washington ever scores a goal I might get the details of the game tattooed on me (I won't so don't remind me of this when he sends us up at Wembley ).

Our obvious first XI and lack of depth may be the thing that costs us promotion.

I do worry slightly that every single team knows exactly which players will be playing in each position and can plan accordingly. Everyone knows how we will set up and every players individual strengths and weaknesses. This is why January is key, just to cast some doubt in the oppositions mind, and why we need variation in the squad!

If our players are better than opposition it doesn’t really matter.

Not sure I agree. Why did Palace beat Man City the other week? Do they have better players? Surely that was down tactics.

It has a huge impact, particularly in this league where there is very little difference in the quality of the squads.

Meant better on the day.

Madine will only start if

1: Sharp and McGoldrick are injured, lose form or need a rest
2: Wilder might choose Madine as a tactical option if he suspects the opposition will park the bus defending deep in numbers.
3: Madine really impresses during his sub appearances.

None of the above are applicable so he won’t start.

Think the bigger question is “will Madine be a sub against QPR and will Wilder bring him on”
Suppose it depends on his fitness and how he does in training this week.

If as the poster said earlier he’s on £35k a week... he’ll be on the bench, possibly may start..

We can’t pay that to warm the bench every week can we?

Not that I think he's on that but Woodburn was probably on a tidy sum and he didn't even get on the bench, and Blackman is definitely on something like that from what I've read and he had his periods on the bench.

I’m not saying he won’t be on the bench, but, he’s a serious investment regarding wages so we will have to make sure he gets a good shot at it..

I’m the one normally complaining we don’t spend enough, but I don’t think the owners would be happy if he was sat on the bench, on the other hand we’d be flying regarding goals if he was... dunno, I can see him getting starts in front of Sharp but not mcgoldrick, don’t think he can bring to the team what mcgoldrick does in overall play..

I’ve also got a sneaky feeling this is a loan with an option to buy if Cardiff stay up..

If we have promotion intentions surely a game that has a tick in the winnable section.

We don't know what we're paying but it's extremely unlikely he'll be on £35k coming from us, and in all honesty if he was on £12K when he joined them in the Championship surely it's ridiculously imprudent financially to nearly triple a players wage? He's got the world's best agent if that was in his contract.

Warnock isn't our manager, he might've announced it for us but his job isn't to make us feel better, it's to make Cardiff fans feel better.

I bet United have offloaded some players on the cheap too and said it's good for the club, are Oxford paying all of Carruthers and Holmes wages? Doubt it. Smaller amounts of money but still.

Just don't see the point of letting a possibility get you down. Might buy him, might not, if he's as shit as everyone thinks he'll be and they want to get most of their money back we definitely won't. If he scores 20 between now and the end of the season and sets 15 up they won't let us have him anyway because they might get relegated.
