Does anyone know if we employ one? If not do you think we should? It seems like we've got in the habit of losing and a lot of the players don't believe in themselves.

Mcburnie is a prime example of a player who looks like their mind isn't quite right at the moment.. Mcburnie is fit enough, he's winning headers, putting effort in and doing the non skill stuff which requires little composure quite well but seems like whenever he gets a chance it's in his head that he's going to miss it.. We've seen him score quality headed goals in the past, Chelsea, Leicester last season... Loads for Swansea... Yet now every header comes off his shoulder.. He's shots always seem to be scuffs or miss kicks.. Prime example is the terrible penalty he took at Burnley in a relatively low pressure situation....

We use to have 1 of the best when we were in league 1 and championship. You would think we still use him

I see black spots.
They are your pupils.

I am your teacher.

You can score goals.
It will end in 2 nils.

My invoice will be in the post.

I'd be surprised if we don't have someone involved but often a sports psychologist is someone who is around to chat with and unburden yourself, rather than someone with magic tricks to change you.

Individual sports like golf, tennis, snooker and definitely cricket (team game but with individual battles) lend themselves nicely to psychologists as sports where you've got too much time to think and have inner battles... football a bit less so maybe but we'll have someone about.

Personally I still think McBurnie'll come good with Brewster...but I reckon his trouble with finishing's got more to do with his feet than his psyche.
