Here it is in a nutshell.

Whatever division we are in next season, VS won’t be wearing a Blades shirt.

Not directed at those of us that know why, more so those of you that don’t. Understand why ?!👀.

Enjoy him while you can.

Heard exactly the same last season saying we wouldn’t see Arblaster, and Hamer this season. We’d been stupid for turning down £5m for Trusty and we’d be making a loss on Anel and Souza.

Those that claim they know, generally know fuck all and it’s been proven time after time.

He's been class this season, and I don't judge him from last season,as we were struggling all around, and never played in English football let alone in the prem..put him in a half decent prem team,I think he'd be ok.
Please don't put him in a half decent Prem team .... Leave him with us please
Listened to Everton v Fulham on way home (Ndiaye v Berge) ... The players we've had and lost , eh ?
January is about hanging onto our players as much as bringing any in.

He’s the living walking talking symbol of the gulf in class between the 2 divisions.

Mediocre at best last season, outstanding today.
When I watch MoTD and see Brentford in our famous kit (well , almost) , I can't believe it's them and not us.
It's just weird how TV money has changed football

This all day long, l think Vinny has been probably our best player this season, however he can't keep getting booked at the rate he is, at this rate he'll end up with about 25 booking's for the season. That'll mean missing a lot of game's.
We were talking about that today, he’s picked up 6 in 11 and although he could cut out stupid ones like the card waving last week, he’s likely to continue close to his going rate. Four more and it’s a two game ban and at 15, it’s three games. He could easily get there early in the new year.

I wouldn’t bet against him getting a red at some point this season either.

We have no cover for him , at anywhere near his level - it's our biggest Achilles heel this season - I don't know how he can stop the flow of yellows - he just looks the sort that refs wanna book.

Unplayable today. He looks way fitter and energetic compared last season. I remember a pre season interview where he mentioned he'd had a proper break, went home to see family and started rejuvenated. Hopefully he gets better and better and will hold his own in the EPL next season 😁

Cant judge anyone from last season. The whole thing from start to finish was an absolute calamity from selling our 2 best players prior to the season starting and gambling on cheap replacements and a few calculated gambles in Hamer/Archer who had varying degrees of success.
Vini Souza last season showed in patches that he was capable of performing in the premier league but seemed to get disillusioned as the season progressed and the inevitable became closer.
This season we have a stronger starting 11 than the one that started last season, admittedly still a few short, and we are having more of the ball and have a game plan (apart from the last 2 away games where I think Wilder over thought things and worried about the opposition too much) that includes us having more possession and players having clear roles within the team.
Vini Souza has good support from Oli Arblaster at the side of him and Hamer in front of him. JRS is improving with game time and hopefully O'Hare can remember that he is a good player (showed glimpses of it yesterday) which allows Vini Souza to do what he is good at - Breaking up opposition play and restarting ours. He has shown that he can use the ball intelligently and is a positive influence on others around him.
He had reasonably impressive stats last season in terms of tackles/interceptions etc, despite the trainwreck that the team had, and has continued/improved those stats this season.
There is plenty of evidence to suggest that he would be comfortable in the majority of teams in the prem that generally occupy positions 6-17 in the table.

I am really pleased that we have been able to keep hold of him and hope we can keep him for as long as possible. He is the sort of midfielder that you build a side around.

He needed a season in the Premiership to get up to speed with it (most players do). Now showing he certainly is good enough for it....enjoy him while he's here.

He reminds me of prime Patrick Viera who controlled that Arsenal midfield. Big, dominant, strides the whole pitch working hard both offensively and defensively.

Mc Burnie's now departed and refs have now found another player to immedialtely look for when handing out yellow cards.

Considering all the necessary criteria Vini is my 'Starman of the Year' so far.

Said he'd be a cheat code for the Championship. Absolutely on the money. Biggest thing, beyond his clear quality, is his leadership. From the first minute (actually just before kick-off) he was in the ear of the team, telling people where to be, encouraging the shape, dictating the intensity.

If he carries on in this vein, he'll need an extension to ensure we get what we're due.

I’m still getting flash backs to sitting in the pub pre Crystal Palace home game last season and looking at the line up, and the dawning reality.

I think he was one more foul away yesterday from getting one. I actually thought Wilder might take him off with being 2-0 up.

the thing is the premier league and championship have never been as far apart quality wise as they are just now vini was below that level last season and above the level were playing at now but he totally ran that midfield yesterday

It was never a yellow card yesterday though worry is other team see him as an easy target and go down over a blade of grass. He is also superb at chasing down a lost ball and getting possession back. Super player when in the side.

Different role, better instructions, and part of a team that is more balanced. He's got the attributes to play higher than Championship.

If we can improve on one or two more positions in January things are looking very promising.
The issue Souza has is today's game yellow and reds like confetti this is the most likely reason he won't be attracting Premier League bids? Time will tell. Think he has been very impressive this season his desire each game is worth a minimum 7 out of 10 if Arblaster had his engine my god what a fee that lad would command

I didn’t see his booking yesterday but fuck knows how he got away with another yellow in the second half when he stopped a counter from Stoke, I’m glad he did but I thought the ref was shite yesterday. Souza has been brilliant this season by the way.
