There were two others incidents around the 70th minute period, where after long spells of possession we gave the ball away with a lot the team high up the pitch, both times Souza sprinted and won the ball back when we were out numbered on the counter attack.

Defensive wise this is the player I believe Becky and co wanted to have last season. Whether he can do the same in the league above though.....? Wouldn't right it off, clearly given there has been interest this summer other clubs see something in him.

Last season for so many just wasn't right. In Souzas case literally had no pre-season and then tried to settle into a side that was just so poor.

The calamity was happening all around him last season. I remember defending him and getting pelters but with all around him disappearing it was hard for him to do the work that the rest wouldn't do.
