So you made up the games we lost in the run up to Christmas just like you made up me claiming the owners being embarrassing will impact signings.

Mate - we lost to Leeds and Boro. If you're wanting to get promoted, you shouldn't be losing games like that. I think that's a pretty clear statement

But again - explain to me how going negative against Leeds, Boro and Burnley is the sign of success and that Wilder had the tactics figured out correctly?

I truly don't get why souttar post has got into this ! But they weren't on 100 points. They weren't running away with it. They were beatable. And Wilder decided to sit back against them.

But sure, criticising Wilder for putting that squad out is entitled and spoilt.

I’d heard that Brewster wasn’t Wilders first choice… he wanted an experienced Prem striker but as ever with United, we wouldn’t push the boat out on wages so he had to settle for a youngster with huge potential. Always lots more than we get to see going in to these decisions I guess.

The guy who told me that would have been very well placed to know at the time … and I certainly wasn’t saying Chris didn’t want Brewster… but his ideal was an experienced prem striker… it was quickly realised our wage budget would not stretch to that.
