Souttar isn't old, isn't famous, and most importantly hasn't played for Leeds. Obviously a false rumour.
But he has been injured a bit

If he has a good World Cup then he will have better offers out there.Contact at Leicester reckons he’s coming for £3m this window. Just waiting on my source to give more background. He messaged me this morning out of the blue that it’s happening.
We’d have to sell first to be able to buy any of those on that list…in the meantime there’s RNDIt's certainly a strong spine if they are all fit and firing. Assuming Hamer and Peck are sold:
COOPERThe spot next to Phillips needs to be an athletic player capabale of the box-to-box role.
WALKER - SOUTTAR - LCB
SERIKI - PHILLIPS - CM - BURROWS
BROOKS - O'HARE
BAMFORD
If we are going 3 at the back then I wouldn't be against Hjelde coming in as first choice LCB. Just trying to thing of other decent left-footed CB's - Jacob Greaves, Cameron Burgess, Matt Clarke, Aaron Cresswell (old), Callum Doyle, Eiran Cashin - there's not a massive pool of talent out there
A done deal or have we not bid yet?Source has confirmed about 80% trust in info. He’s close at Leicester and I don’t talk to him very often, it would be out of character to billy bullshit.
A done deal or have we not bid yet?
We are formulating a dossierWe are probably considering a discussion about exploring the possibility of submitting an enquiry. You cant rush these things. Well not if you are SUFC, anyway.
Corrected that for you .... dosserWe are formulating a dossier

Thanks mate. Fingers crossedSource is pretty confident it’s done. I asked for confidence rating and he said 8/10. We’ll see I guess but he’s not been far wrong before on other matters, especially around Leicester.

He’s never been a regular for anybody because he’s never fit enough.Leicester do need to raise funds and I don't think he has ever been a regular for them.
I also doubt Harry wants to be playing League 1 football at this moment in his career either.
Stoke? He’s never been a regular for anybody because he’s never fit enough.
61 appearances between 2016 and 2023.Stoke?
His brothers no where near Harry's level.Rather have his brother John from Rangers, although as a pair they might work
Thats only 2 serious injuries in all that time. Unlucky, but not a jinx imo
True but 2 of the worse kind ... an ACL and achilles. Hes exactly what we need but we'll be holding our breath every time he goes down if we do sign him.Thats only 2 serious injuries in all that time. Unlucky, but not a jinx imo

Agree, get Harry back, Kyle, Billy or just stick with what we have at least Tom still had his hair, we aint richThis.
Every time Tom Davies tackled, turned or put his hands through his hair aggressively I wondered how many games he’d be out for. Souttar would give me similar vibes.
What? Like (early) Binden, McGutless and Tanganga? We have to be careful of making this the be all and end all of our signings, if he gets injured we're knackered again, he had a great impact when he came in, but who's to say that someone else would/ wouldn't have had that impact at the time.
Asking him to give up international football would probably help, then he's not flying half way round the world every few months.Like any other transfer we just need to do our due diligence and pay a fair value. Unfortunately over the last couple of years we haven’t been great at either of those.
I don’t think Souttar is particularly injury prone the same way a lot of players are, but he’s had two potentially career ending injuries. You can either see this as him being resilient (being able to recover from these) or a risk (something else may go pop). A thorough medical and training regime suited to his body would mitigate any risk but again, as a club, we’re just not set up to operate like that.
