South Stand Gangway A Faller

Was sat a few rows away from a chap who fell going down the gangway stairs right behind Gangway A, just before half-time.
Think he’d cracked his jaw/chin on the railings. First Aiders carried him off after the folks closest had helped him with the bleeding

It's not the first time I have seen that happen in the South Stand.

I hope the bloke is okay.

I know you shouldn’t make light of such things but I bet his thought process was:

“How do I get out of watching the 2nd half here, we’re absolutely shit?!”

A second or so later:

“Chuck myself down these stairs and I’m sorted”

Broken jaw taken to hospital , know him well tough as old boots can give an update later as long as it’s ok with family but yes wish him well

Right - it looked nasty as those sat closer were waving the stewards up pretty quickly.
Hope he’s OK & send on best wishes for a speedy recovery.
