Sad to hear.

I heard another shocking story at the game yesterday from someone my wife knows.

His son got shoved down the stand steps by some prick who thought it was funny at the match the other week. Ended up with injuries.

There has always been arseholes at our games but I can't help think they're on the increase again since League 1.

League 1 is where he started in his blades carear.

I keep saying this. It’s not just away games either, as this thread proves. I got to my seat yesterday to find four blokes stood there. I asked them politely if they’d shuffle over as they were stood where our seats were located and I was called all the names under the sun and was offered out by a fellow ‘Blade’.

They didn’t move and this then forced one of my mates to go and find a space on his own as a family who were meant to be sat next to us were now huddled together, two stood behind the others.

Hope your lad is alright, Montsanddemsharks. As others have said, don’t look to sit in that area again as it’s not worth the hassle it may cause. The bloke is obviously a coward and isn’t worth your breath, pal.

I have seen more Blade v Blade arguments this season than I have in years, silly stuff too like not letting someone pass and them having to push to get through, words said ending in one offering the other out while their mates drag them away. WTF is wrong with people no respect for anyone some of them and it has got much worse since the use of Columbian marching power has grown in popularity. Just another little thing that is turning me away from attending next season along with games being rearranged all the time either for TV or to keep SYP happy that's before I factor in the cost at a time when fuel prices and energy bills are going through the roof. I go to watch football and be entertained not to be looking over my shoulder in case a drunk or drugged up pillock decides to kick off. Seems to be a country wide problem not just at SUFC.

At the risk of turning this into a #SheffieldUnitedFansAreADisgrace thread, I had a horrible incident at Pride Park with my son. I'd been unfortunately in the home end and was walking back to the car past some of our fans, my 8 year old son was talking about how good the Tom Lawrence goal was (he unfortunately supports Derby like his mum but comes to United games so still hope to turn him round) when a grown man, maybe mid 40's? (He was fat, pissed and coke addled so it was hard to tell his age, may have been 30's!) told him to "shut the fuck up" - I told him I was a Blade and he was just a kid, and I then got abuse too.

My son didn't want to go to the West Brom game because of it, so convincing him to support us is going to be even harder now. We really have some absolute cunts that support us.

There is some clown who sits at the back of the South Stand usually in a random seat who gets drunk at most matches and slags players off as soon as the game kicks off. I can see him getting a slap soon as fellow Blades in that area are getting sick of him as he stumbles into people and generally shouts utter bollocks every match. He doesn't strike me like he is looking for trouble but you can see another Blade who has had a few drinks themselves might lay into him eventually. It's one of situations that has been brewing where you know something is going to happen at some point. The fact he moves seats from game to game is probably the only thing stopping him getting decked at the moment.

Wed night i took our young to un match, was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, work fell ok, funds were theer. Nice surprise for a sheff united mad 10 year old. My lad was getting abit cold, i goes and gets him an hot chocolate, 10 mins at most as it was pre kick off. Ive found out just yesterday as my lad didn't want to say owt some shithouse was giving him grief about us been sat in the wrong seats. when i brought him back his drink his eyes were red like he'd been crying but he went onto say he was ok, it turns out the wanker was sat bang in front of us, i had no idea. A proper blade apparently asked if he was alreght as you would as a decent human being. Next time turn around and take it up with me you absolute shithouse, top corner next to railings south stand/bramall lane corner. I've no reason to disbelieve my lad, he's growing up and possibly didn't want me to get in trouble. Next time just give me a nudge when id returned back to the seats and we could have sorted it mouthing at my son. You choose to keep silent like the pussy you are.

mate I know that I am not correct with this comment but sometimes I think the whole ground is full of 'nob heads' witnessed some abuse to a lad who must have been about 10 in the south stand this week. His farther was very calm considering, if it had been me I would have sent them tumbling down the steps. There seems to be a total contempt and lack of respect to others these days.

Don't let them 'a holes' get to you or your son. There are a lot of good blades out there I just don't seem to see a lot of them these days. its sad!!
