What annoys me and my son is the number of people who go one after another all the way through the match. We constantly have to stand up, sit down, stand up to let them past.

My issue with that would the 18 year olds. 3 pints of carling pre match, carrying a structurally compromised plastic cup of beer full to the brim, swaying down the extremely tight kop, spilling most of the beer down the necks of those in front. 90% of the kop would go home stinking of beer!
Carrier Bag Firm have the UK Rights for these...

Madri is horse piss as well. It's carling but rebadged to pretend it's spanish 🤣🤣
Here we go.
Luckily you've let everybody know, otherwise they'd have been sipping it imagining it was brewed by an old Spanish guy, shipped to England on a galeon, in oak casks. Thanks.
I drink it from time to time. It's often the best option.
Anyway, off to have some Yorkshire puds that Bessy lady baked, and a cake from that old guy Kipling.

One place where l drink has just binned Madri for Cruzcampo. Sadly, Estrella, and horse piss, just two far better options, were apparently not available.

No idea. I don't drink 'lagers' generally. I have Madri if the only options is pump after pump of IPA. For me it is a reasonable utility beer nothing more nothing less.

Having said that, I was drinking some decent German beers last night for the pubs oktoberfest week. Sadly they didn't have Hofmeister 🐻

Would it just be 18 year olds who are at risk of spilling a structurally compromised plastic cup of beer or would they grow out of it when they 19?

It is marketed as some spanish origin lager, but it's just carling, which is shite. You can argue the toss all.you want if it makes you feel better that you like drinking piss. And if madri is the best option, god knows what the other choices are 🤣🤣

Handy to know. I'll drink Carling instead, it's cheaper. And British.

It’s not Carling, but it’s brewed by the same brewery, and it’s shite. But it isn’t Carling. It’s a different shite lager.

It's just what the Beer Barista at Sharrowvale Beer House and Kitchen told them, while serving up a Wizards Sleeve IPA.
Which they really ust mix up in the back from Carling, elderflower cordial and goats piss ;)

So many people comparing Madri to horse piss.
What surprises me most is that so many fans know what horse piss tastes like? 😲😲

There's two blokes who sit a couple of rows in front of us. They always arrive at the last minute and about 6 people stand up to let them in. Just before halftime one of them stands up and walks out, followed shortly afterwards by the other - so the 6 people have to stand up twice. They often come back together after half time so the 6 people only half to stand up once.
The pre halftime ritual is repeated just before the final whistle. I'm relieved that I sit behind them and not next to them ;)

I mentioned a combination of events if you care to read it properly

In my opinion lager pretty much all tastes the same save for a few decent craft lagers or those brewed in Germany/Czech Republic. In most instances you are best saving your money and buying Carling than splashing out on a Morretti or whatever.

Paid £6.20 for a pint of (usually delicious) Jute in the fan zone last Saturday. Dont know what they did to it but it was rubbish.

Taste of beer is massively affected by the cleanliness of the pipes, pumps, nozzles etc. Can't see that being a top priority especially being used once every 2 weeks

If they’ve got any sense they’ll run water through the lines a day or two after the match to get the beer out, then clean them properly the day before a game. I can’t see that being a priority for Compass though either. The catering on the Kop will never improve while they’re running it.
