Sounds close to a threat to walk

It's not good really is it! Hopefully they make him happier come Tuesday.

Interestingly when Wilder made these sorts of comments he was given a disciplinary. Something which of course he did not like. Will they do the same here.
Yes makes you think . The two managers can not be both wrong surely. We may be jumping the gun because we have till Tuesday for the board to come good but it sounds like the present manager is getting pissed off already.

His post-match interview is basically an ultimatum to the board.

Basically:

I took this job on the understanding I had money to bring players in
You haven't done this yet
It's not looking like this is going to happen
If you don't do this then you've reneged on an agreement you made with me
If we don't bring any players in, we will be in a relegation battle

(in a Don Corleone voice) I'm confident you will fulfil your promise

I think he'll walk if nothing next week and he'll take the Prince to court for constructive dismissal on the basis it has become impossible to do the job he was given due to the inactions of the owner.
I can not blame him for saying what he thinks . Much prefer a guy like that than a gaffers puppet. Can not see him taking it to court though but if it came to a dismissal I know who I would believe when all the shit starts flying .

We've had months to build a squad for this season which started a month ago ,one loan 5 games into the new season doesn't fill me with confidence that the next few days will change the course of our season, in fact if we're fobbed off with a couple more loan signings I think we've got our own Chanseri.

Maybe the Prince has already thrown in the towel and decided we're not challenging for promotion this year, hence the lack of signings?

Looks like history is repeating itself, so they told him players in, and this is before selling his best keeper for £24m.

They’ve got to back him, a blind man can see there’s problems all over the pitch.

I don’t believe some of the players in the squad were Wilder’s first or second choice, we can see why

No thats not the case it is his making mate no body else who because of the lack of bringing any players in we are in this mess. We wanted a center half for 14 months before we got one.

Not really fair on wilder given what he achieved but every half arsed performance these players put in makes me more angry with him.

he blew through more money that this club has ever seen and there is literally nothing to show for it. Neglected huge parts of the squad and this is the end result - every expensive signing a HUGE failure

The problem with being on the outside is you never know the full story. Slav is clearly unhappy but why?

Either:

- The players Slav has identified are financially out of our reach and the board can't break a deal.

- The board have agreed affordable deals and are not (or unwilling to) pulling the trigger.

- The players identified within the budget made available are not deemed good enough to improve the squad.

- The board are not willing to spend either due to pocketing the PL cash for themselves or to maintain the long term financial status of the club.

Whatever the reason for our lack of activity in the transfer window it's abundantly obvious change is needed.

I think the parallels between now and 2007 are uncanny.

Warnock and Wilder, two mediocre former footballers. Born in Sheffield and Blades fans.

Replaced by
Robson/Slav, two fantastic former footballers. Monotone voice, uninspiring (in my opinion). Selling our best players.

Big difference, Wilder was backed
Backed beyond what he should have been given what we are now left with.

He'd have been told to work with a director of football by me as well, if it was my money he was spending

Something we need to think about though when we say he blew through money is that he also got us up to the PL and the TV money earned is more than we have ever had as well.
£90m a season? Now parachute payments. This is why it doesn't really all add up

Slav doesn't strike me has stupid. I suspect he would have got something down on paper.

Given we're getting nothing from the club about what's going on I'm glad he's clearly making the situation known to the fans.

the 2 arnt mutually exclusive though - it’s counter productive to say just cos you earned that money it’s fine for you to light it on fire.

120m spend and the squad is worse than the one we had 3 seasons ago. No improvement whatso ever. Every big money move a failure

Also when we had to spend millions to regenerate the Lane, meet Pl rules, pay off the greedy fuck McCabe. So it’s not a surprise we aren’t rolling in it. We’ll still owe millions on the frauds wilder purchased

Also parallelels with the pigs. Expensive, well-paid under-performing players and an owner who thinks he knows more about football than any manager.

This is a shambles.

1). Board wasting the advantage of paracute payments and lying to the new manager to get him to take over.
2) Manager persisting with the likes of Fleck who can't do it anymore

When Wilder called the board out he was labelled a twat. He’d also just spent money on Brewster and other assorted shite.

I can see why Slav is pissed off if he was promised money to spend.

£157 million in our first season

Agreed, There is a big difference

when you miss on transfer record breaking deal after transfer record breaking deal - you can’t keep coming back with the begging bowl out. Definition of throwing good money after bad

wilder signed a bunch of crap and wasted basically all of the PL money. He honestly had no right to money in January (we had 5 fucking points) he’s been well backed other than that.

you can’t promise a new manger the ability to refresh the squad and then fail to bring anything in.

It'll be OK, the Prince will do an interview after he walks and everyone will swallow his bullshit again and blame it on Jokanovic.
Rubbish. Many of us who backed the Prince over Wilder would not do so if SJ walked (although I don’t think he will). You must know fans who take this view surely, there are lots of us.

Exactly ,wilder made himself look a right twat and didn't have a leg to.stand on
Can't see the owner getting much sympathy if he loses this guy
