Best side by a fair distance today. Should have won but we didn't take our chances (again). Nothing about the formation for me. Just missed good chances whilst they scored with their only shot on target

Appear to be in a phase where performances better than results. Been a while since we've had to win. Bit of pressure next week no bad thing.

Fans were top class and players gave their all. Would have loved that to have gone inside the post and took all 3 but hey ho.

As good a first half as I've seen in years, total domination. Second half much the same, shame we couldn't turn the dominance into goals. But match or better the chasing packs results and up we go!

One of those games where the sending off didn't really seem to help us.

They kept two up top which made us go less gung-ho and just defended the width of their box. Some of our crossing was poor.

That said as others have said I think it's not an horrendous result especially as Bolton couldn't win. Onwards and upwards

We did, but missing two early sitters came back to haunt us. Scunthorpe went in at HT totally shell-shocked but you just knew they'd come out different. Sloppy play from the second half kick off saw us gift them a goal and - despite our dominance - if we hadn't hit back immediately it could have become a slog.

Our crossing continues to let us down but it was a terrific game. Both sides hitting the woodwork at the end made it seem a fair result...

I thought United were very cynical and realised the ref. was weak (and crap). The sending-off didn't surprise me one bit. The ref. caused problems where none existed, rather like SYPD who let the Scunt fans out at the end but forced Blades fans almost up onto London Road.

Great crowd and Bolton next week looks like being a sell out.
