Why do we have to set up attacking situations while allowing the defense to get set.? Rarely do we whip early crosses in. All 3 goals today caught their defense back peddling. Once we have let them set in, we might as well kick the ball out for a goal kick cause the attacking move is over. Does my frikin head in how we let teams get ready before a cross. Is that what they practice mid week? We have so much talent going forward yet decide to give the defense time to organize. This is not cricket!!!!

Inverted wingers. Left footed Brooks on the right wing and right footed Hamer on the left.

Hamer, who scored with his right after coming on off the the left yesterday?! Brooks who’s done the same numerous times off the right with his left?!

We've been slow forever yet when we counter attack quickly we're actually pretty good! Burrows goal was a perfect example, we did it at Wembley, we've done it a number of times with success.. yet most of the time we give the opposition all the time in the world to get back a reorganise which makes our job 100x harder.

There doesn't appear to be any tactics or systems whatsoever.

At the very least we need an experienced director of football, but ideally an entirely new manager and back room staff with a modern approach to football.

The slow, sideways and backwards possession obsession is the modern approach to football.

What’s missing is a McGoldrick and a Norwood.

We had it so good when those two were at the club.

It’s boring, isn’t it?
The success teams have playing that way demands high quality players. Decent pros go through the motions but don’t have the X factor to unlock teams. Consequently it looks pedestrian and ineffective
