Cheers Mr know fuck all
About as boring as our team.
Hope its not 100 on Saturday let’s save that for SpursWe broke the record for most goal conceded in 38 game EPL season tonight, before tonight the record was was 89 (Derby County, 2007/08), we now hold the record with 92.
Be 96 or 97 by Saturday teatime. 105 by end of season. Roll on August.Hope its not 100 on Saturday let’s save that for Spurs
Is it the best attacking PL in history or because there's been about 15 extra minutes per match? We'll most likely break Swindons 42 game PL record of a 100 but get no where near Ipswich's 121. Small wins.....
Swindon set the record (42) of 100 in 1993/4 at an average of 2.38
Derby then set the record (38) of 89 in 2007/8 at a 2.34
We are currently sitting on 92 from 34 at 2.70
But remember this PL season is currently average 3.24 goals per game and Calvert-Lewin's goal last night was 1085th goal of the season - a new record. Looks like our poor defence decided to show up with the best attacking PL in history.
Well, I dont have the stats to hand but if someone will pull them - how many goals have been scored 90+ this season. Even then, the I think I read the usual average of stoppage time last season was 4 minutes. So if you take out anything scored 4 mins and then only count that after 4 mins then it might give you an answer. Is it the best attacking PL in history or because there's been about 15 extra minutes per match?
Anyway, 101 is our record for league goals conceded in a season. 10 to go, we at least need to come out of this season with something to remember it by!
I think we already have our new record for average goals conceded per game. Even if we keep 4 clean sheets in the remaining games (If we are taking about records to:
We need to keep 2 more clean sheets just to equal the lowest number of clean sheets in a PL season - held by 4 clubs....
We've already shattered the goals conceded at home with 51, Watford held the record with 46.
