Well obviously. It was my attempt at humour which was misplaced. I've never sung an opposition players name at the Lane but I certainly sung Shearers name in the pub in Euro 96 as we battered Holland. FWIW I've definitely given standing ovations to opposition players coming off the pitch at the Lane. Gascoigne and Zola spring to mind along with the entire Barnet team.
