although we have calve for a season long loan we should talk to nancy about signing him permanently as the lad can play abit and will probably be picked by one of the lower teams in the premiership if dont sign him first....

its become apparent that britton has become very important to us in this style of play and so other teams will soon wise up to the fact all our attacks begin with him....i would love to see britton , ertl and williamson as i rate williamson but the lad is always injured...i still think we need 1 more cultured player in the centre of midfield and we need some more pace on the wings.

anyone else see treacy play the other night on the box...looked a world beater...well championship level.

I thought Treacy was alright during his spell with us.

That goal against Leicester was a peach - I was in York with the missus and couldn't go, had to settle for Sky Sports News highlights in the hotel

Had the same thoughts about Treacey when I saw the Preston highlights the other night. The goal he scored, the cross for their third goal and the shot against the post were different class.

That said, I don't know where Treacy would fit in the current formation. I liked him as a player but not surprised he was sent packing from what I heard at the time

He definitely didn't get his deposit back from the house he was renting up in Ranmoor.
