Some thing botthered me today..

..only a little thing but we had a free kick in the second half just outside their penalty box on the left looking at the kop. The ref was talking to a player.

I'm pretty sure it was Quinny who had the ball and every time Quinny tried to put the ball down a Scunny player kept trying to kick it.

Now I would have liked to have seen someone get in the Scunnys players face and give him some shit and move him away/push him etc. Nowt happened and I put that down to a lack of team spirit. A spirit missing due to so many players being ‘outsiders’.

If the lads were a team, on the books with contracts and ‘playing for the club’ then I’m sure we would have sorted it.

Only a little incident but sums up the situation to me.

The Scunny player should have been booked for what he was doing. To be fair to Yeates he hit a decent shot from the kick
