I agree with giving managers time, which is why Adkins has to go now, so whoever replaces him has more time. They need the rest of this season to see what they can do with the squad we've got, so they know what they need to bring in in the summer and who (if any) should stay. Then have a full pre-season building a side that can challenge for promotion, so we start the season on the front foot, rather than having a manager who has dithered around for months and still has no idea what his best team is.
We can't keep sacking managers, but we also can't repeat the mistake of keeping Blackwell over a summer, then sacking him after a bad start to the next season.
